The 114th Barraba Show
7th, 8th & 9th March 2025
Pavilion theme: "Harvest time"

The Barraba Show, inaugurated in 1904, stands as an annual celebration of agricultural excellence and community spirit in the north-western town of Barraba, located approximately one hour north-west of Tamworth, New South Wales. This time-honored event has become a cherished highlight, fostering a sense of unity among residents and showcasing the diverse facets of agriculture.

At its core, the Barraba Show serves as a comprehensive display of agricultural achievements, spotlighting the region's farming prowess and innovation. Livestock exhibitions, competitions, and demonstrations form an integral part of the event, offering a platform for farmers and producers to showcase their prized animals and cutting-edge agricultural practices.

Beyond the agricultural focus, the show features a captivating pavilion event, where the artistic and creative talents of the community come to the fore. The pavilion serves as a vibrant space, displaying a myriad of artworks, handcrafts, baked goods, fresh produce, flowers, and photography. Schools and community members actively contribute to this showcase, presenting a rich tapestry of local talent and creativity.

The Barraba Show has evolved into a multifaceted celebration that goes beyond its agricultural roots. It is a testament to the resilience and creativity of the community, bringing together residents in a joyous display of talent, camaraderie, and the enduring spirit of Barraba.
